About Us

Our Firm and Its Origins

Gannet Partners is the natural evolution of Grupo NUMA's alternative investment program, a project rooted in a family business tradition spanning nearly a century. Since 2007, we have invested the family office's capital, generating a meaningful track record and extensive experience. Through Gannet Partners, a regulated AIFM within the Spanish Securities and Exchange Comission (CNMV), we make this investment capability available to third-party investors, offering professional, transparent, and long-term-oriented management.

Our connection with Grupo NUMA is more than a historical fact. It reflects our roots, our philosophy, and our commitment. Grupo Numa was established as a family office in 2007, but its origins as a family-owned business date back to 1929, when Pedro Castellón opened an automotive repair shop in Barcelona and began manufacturing his own parts out of necessity, laying the foundations for a multigenerational business legacy.

Over successive generations, the family business diversified its activities, strengthened its identity, and developed a commitment to social impact through the NUMA Foundation. Established in 2007, the Foundation's mission is to share knowledge, support family continuity, and promote best practices among family-owned businesses.

For us, grupo NUMA is more than a legal legacy. It represents a set of enduring values: commitment, independence, and close relationships. Gannet Partners builds on that tradition by professionalizing it, opening it to institutional and private investors, and carrying it forward with rigor, transparency, and a clear commitment to impact.
